4th Task: Your favorite piece of technology

This time you`ll have to write about tour favorite piece of technology or gadget.

What is it the gadget you always use and wouldn`t know what to do if you don`t have it. Or maybe you really like it, but at times you just don`t use it.


In my case I use technology and I love it, but sometimes I just do not want to use or just do not need it especially when I am on vacation, depending on where I am. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the sightseeing or the activities there are to do there.  

Anyway if had the money I would buy a kindle or something like it, to read books on the subway or anywhere I go, I need to read, I do it all the time, and I really think it is great invention. Although I would still go on buying and reading books cause I like the sensation of touching and looking at them. I also like the cover, the introduction, and I also like to see how many editions the books have for instance etc.

Apart from the kindle I also like the mp3/4 series as well as IPod, all intelligent phones telephones, they are great fun and useful in different aspects. To communicate, to listen to music, to take photographs, to connect to internet, write notes, keep information, etc. For some people I imagine a gadget is their best friend and is almost like a person when they feel lonely.

I was born before all this technology appeared and I think it makes life much easier, even though I do not depend on it, like other people and I still remember times when all these  things didn`t exist and the pace of life was different. There was more sharing, children played more with each other there was more chatting, face to face conversations, etc. Sometimes I missed the good all days…

3rd Task: Themed free post

Hey how are you doing?

Today is a free themed topic, although we have to come to a desicion as a class.Everybody has a agreed on writing about music.

The music you like most, that is to say the band, the singer , the type of music you like most, when do you listen to it, do you just listen to it or you like dancing it?

Through out the years I have learnt to like different music such as tango, ballads or blues, rock some of it to dance and other just to listen to..I belong to the period of The Who , The doors, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin,Neil Young, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, The rolling Stones, the Beatles, Presley, Carol King etc.It was such an interesting period , everything was happening in those times, Vietnam, Woodstock, Politics, for me it was an open minded period, There is so much written in that period too, so many poets and writer here in South america and in the world too.

Here in Chile we believed in the concept of a new man a free man what a deceit, a fallacy... an utopia...!Any way it was a very interesting period to live on, and I feel proud of it.

I also like  fados , jazz, popular songs as well as romantic ones.also like serrat and Sabina, argentinian and chilean rock.Another type f music that i grew with , is classicla.I love Bach , Beethoven and many other as Wagner, Mozart, The rite of spring by Stravinsky which shocked  the people at the time.

I could go on and on talking about music , films books for ages...but I wat to listen to you, what are your likes and dislikes about the matter.

So go ahead...

Hi guys

The idea now is to write about movies. About your favourite one or the ones you most like ot the best movies in the world, may be you can rank them.Also you could write about the worst ones.Another good idea would the most beautiful movies you saw when you were a child, the most remarkable ones as well as the movie or movies that changed your life or the ones you  hated or the ones that made you cried or dream about it. The one that inspired you...etc.

For me one of the good director that I like is Kim Ki Duk, a korean director.The last move I saw was Breath, loved it, cause it does not have much talking but there there is a lot you can read with gestures, images, looks, situation, etc.I like eastern movies...japanese, chinese etc.As an antithesis to northamerican movies in which violence sex and action polaya an important role.This other movies like european ones are more subtle.

In my opinion apart from script, photography plays an important role, apart from the acting itself...
